No, no, not that, I’m talking about Silver, Red and Gold – the three legs of our frustrating Life Master tripod.

Curious? Enter your ACBL number in the form below. It’s like Googling yourself, but not as weird.

Our forthcoming Regional (in May, at the midtown Hilton) will be one such source of advancement. The District 3 regional in Tarrytown is right around the corner as well ( Jan 22-28 ) and you don’t need to wait.

Party during regional. Maybe you’re invited.

Our illustrious President ( no, not that one, ours says his name is David Moss ) said

The GNYBA will be hosting a party and Barometer Game on Saturday night  Dec 30 at 7pm at Aces.

When pressed for detail, he said  “We will have more details at the tournament itself.”

Probably the GNYBA will supply snacks and soda. I’m planning to bring my own beer.

The Saturday game will be hosted by Rachael Moller & David Gurvich, and modeled after David’s usual (invitational) monthly games.

If you can’t show up to this one, try to cadge an invitation to the normal monthly game. David & Rachael have managed to recreate something long missing from NY bridge.

Youth Bridge Continues to Grow in Manhattan

This year’s Youth Bridge Tournament at the New York Eastern States Regional doubled in size. Last year we had four tables and this year we had eight. The children were directed by Aaron Silverstein and Gennifer Bender who offer us space at the Cavendish Bridge Club on Sundays, from September through May from 4:30 to 6:30, and we finished the year with this Tournament on May 28th. We were assisted by Kerry Kappell, Ellen Friedman, Yoshiko Praeger, Bobby Rose and Tse Mei Ling. Photos of the 2017 Medal Winners were taken by Larry Praeger.
