Bridge Centers in New York City
Manhattan contains three large open commercial clubs. Honors, Cavendish, Aces.
Honors is the largest club in the country. It offers a solid evening schedule, a rich teaching program, and games for players of various experience levels.
Aces also offers a couple of weeknight games. Cavendish is daytime-only.
Note that all of them welcome walk-ins and will find you a partner if you need one.
- Honors (212-230-1230) 133 East 58th, 14th Floor
- Cavendish (212-876-2196) 1556 3rd Ave/ 177 East 87th, 3rd Floor

Playing Schedule for Manhattan ACBL Duplicate Players
All three clubs hold weekday games and offer teaching programs.
On Saturday, there is an afternoon game at Honors and Cavendish.
On Sunday all duplicate games are held at Honors.
For evening players, there is a game Mon-Fri at Honors, 6:30pm (6:45pm Mon)
For 0-750 Players, you can play Monday evening at Honors, Thursday morning at Honors, Thursday evening at Aces, Saturday afternoon at Honors.
Playing Schedule for Beginner Bridge Players
In addition to group or private lessons, the clubs offer “newplicate” sessions and supervised play sessions. Both are designed to be a very friendly game with instructors on hand for answering questions.
Monday morning, Monday evening, Thursday evening, and Friday afternoon at Honors offer semi-supervised duplicate. These games award masterpoints but allow for slower play and occassional instructor supervision. They are limited to players who have fewer than 50-100 masterpoints, depending on the session.
There are also pure supervised play sessions, which are not scored and does not require an ACBL membership. This is the perfect stepping stone for beginners who have finished their lessons but want more experience prior to playing in a duplicate game.

The other boroughs are not devoid of bridge clubs — though only Staten Island is served by a full-time club.
